Our Co-Founders

Bryan Edwards and Jane Obi, are a husband and wife team who have built their foundation on believing their ‘Love is a Bridge’.

Bryan, a St. Louis native, grew up in a hard working family, that instilled in him the important value of kinship.

Jane, an adventurous immigrant from Nigeria, is passionate about amplifying and celebrating diverse cultures like her own.

Through Bryan’s passion for financial and socioeconomic empowerment and Jane’s dedication to culturally aligned mental health and wellness, they bring diverse perspectives that drive their efforts in their work. Together, they found purpose in appreciating culture & community and fostering strong connections.

“After working on community events with local partners, we saw a need to continue the work of uplifting communities and creating spaces where people who look like us, feel like they belong. And thus, Third Spaces was born. The work of Third Spaces encompasses elements of community organizing, community development, and cultural advocacy, all of which are interconnected and contribute to building stronger, more vibrant, and more equitable communities.

At Third Spaces we want you to know that we see you, you belong, you matter, and you deserve to take up space.” - Bryan + Jane
